On 29 November, ‘talent meets Jianghai’ 2021 China Nantong Jianghai talents entrepreneurship week and scientific and innovative industry talent development conference hosted by CPC Nantong Committee and Nantong government was open at Nantong international conference center.

Secretary of CPC Nantong Committee Wang Hui and acting mayor Wu Xinming published policies about improving youth and talent friendly city development index together.

Experts and scholars such as Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, winner of national Highest Science and Technology Awards Wang Zeshan attended the opening ceremony.

Wang Hui said that Nantong will use genuine and sincere attitude, real action, cold hard cash, to promote a series competitive supporting policies, build multiple level housing supply system from ‘one bed’ to ‘one room’ to ‘one apartment’, improve public service supporting functions, to provide maximum support for talents who come to Nantong to start business.

In 2021, 71 Nantong people are shortlisted in Jiangsu innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and 87 people are in municipal Jianghai talents.

On the conference, riverside science and innovation belt planning was published. ‘Nantong science and innovation belt’ experts think tank was founded on the same day. 10 experts such as Previous director of High tech innovation Department of the Ministry of science and technology Zhao Yuhai and Zhong Weijun from Southeast University were recruited as the first batch of experts think tank members.

It is the 11th consecutive year Nantong held Jianghai talents entrepreneurship week. Apart from the opening ceremony, more than 10 theme events were held.
