On 27 November, Tongzhou bay new estuary phase 1 channel project pre-assessment and acceptance was completed.

Tongzhou bay new estuary phase 1 channel project is an offshore causeway. Its total length is about 3398 m. Its shape is like ‘L’. The south end has been connected with the completed Yaosha phase 1 channel. Its east end is connected with planning three harbor basins ‘2+1’ port back causeway. The total investment of the project is 890 million Yuan.

The project is a major land transport channel which connects the three harbor basins. It can serve as the major transport channel of the harbour district. It is a major landmark project to build Tongzhou bay container transport new estuary.
