On 1 December, overseas Nantong one stop integrated service platform - Nantong e Haitong was online officially. The platform uses wechat public account ‘Nantong e Haitong’ as a carrier, will provide relevant policy information for Nantong students before studying abroad, studying abroad and those who have returned home, to realize the core idea of ‘one platform for domestic and foreign integrated services’.

Last September, Nantong foreign affairs office called departments including talents office, education, public security, human resources and social departments to discuss, and initiated ‘overseas Nantong one stop integrated service platform’. All the departments focused on general plan, provided suggestions and comments, worked actively, did a lot of effective work. Students studying abroad integrated management service system has been built on the platform, to provide guidance and supports in several aspects including learning, life and employment for students who are studying abroad.

It is learnt that ‘Nantong e Haitong’ includes 3 modules which are preparation before setting off, studying abroad safely and returning after graduation. The aim is to help students studying abroad solve questions about schools selection and preparation before leaving, provide guidance about safety for students studying abroad, present Nantong talent policies to returned students, attract more excellent talents to return to Nantong to work and start a business, add fresh power for long term innovation development of domestic and overseas Nantong companies, to play an active role in helping in Nantong’s talent attraction work and economic and social development.
