On 12th December, a foreign experts New Year party was held in Nantong.

In the past few years, Nantong has been promoting international technological exchange and cooperation, and made it more convenient for foreigners to apply for work permits in China. It has been elected as ‘Amazing China —— the Most Attractive City for Foreign Talents’ for continuous three years by Ministry of Science and Technology. This year, Nantong has introduced 576 foreign talents. There are close to 1500 foreign experts with valid work permits at present. Among them, the number of high-end talents exceeded 900.
