The reporter learnt from municipal bureau of commerce that a new batch of 388 China Time-honored Brands which were to be recognized were in the process of public notification. Among them, Jinghua Pharmaceutical from Nantong was shortlisted. Up to now, there have been 6 China Time-honored Brands in Nantong which are Laotianbao, Xinzhong, Laowanhe, Sanxiangzhai, Shuiminglou and Yisheng.

Jinghua Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. has a history of more than 60 years. It is an integrated pharmaceutical group which integrates manufacturing, sale, research and development of Chinese medicine preparations, Chinese medicine decoction pieces, western medicine preparations, pharmaceutical intermediates, chemical raw materials medicine, bio-pharmaceuticals, and health products. The company has more than 200 types of Chinese and western medicine. The traditional Chinese medicine products mainly include: Wangshi Baochi Pill, Jidesheng antivenom tablets, Zhengchaihu drink granules, Dachaihu granules, and golden buckwheat tablets (capsules).

At present, there are 42 Time-honored Brands in Nantong in total. They are distributed in industries including textile, catering and accommodation, medicine, arts and crafts, food processing, and processing and manufacturing.
