At 2020 China Nantong international high end textile industry expo held on 3 July, ‘China Nantong international home textile trade city’ planning was published officially. It will focus on building world class home textile industry cluster, build ‘four centers and 1 new city’, which are international home textile trade center which will lead world home textile industry, innovative design center which will lead global fashion trend, green, intelligent and healthy high end home textile research, development and manufacture center, good quality cargo distribution center which connects the state and reaches the world; and an industrial and urban integration demonstration new city with integrated talent, industry and business development.

In the future, the population of the trade city will reach 500 thousand. In order to satisfy the needs of people who do business, trade, work, and stay, commercial buildings, star hotels will be planned and built; cultural activity centers, international schools and theatres will be planned and built; sports centers and international hospitals will be built.
